It’s so nice to meet you!
My name is Danielle (she/they), and I’m a recent graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor’s degree in Game Art & Development. My strengths include illustration, concept art, and 3D modeling. I’ve also picked up some basic coding knowledge along the way, but that isn’t my specialty.
I have experience with various tools, including:
Autodesk Maya
Mudbox
Blender
Substance Painter
Photoshop
Illustrator
Unreal Engine
Godot
Like most people in the game development world, my love for games started when I was young. I’ll never forget the day my friend invited me to her house to play Super Smash Bros. Melee on her GameCube. It was love at first gameplay. That peek into Nintendo’s fantastic library of games was what first sparked my passion for video games and technology. I will forever have a fondness for their unique style of games, which continues to inspire my work to this day.
Creating has always been a core part of who I am. Ever since I was very little, I have filled my time with drawing characters and inventing stories and worlds for them. Whether it was making comics or just imagining the narratives in my head, I have always been drawn to the storytelling side of art and design.
These days, I’m focused on my personal projects. I have more ideas than I know what to do with, but I’m slowly bringing each of them to life, one step at a time. My current projects include building a simple RPG system in Godot, writing a horror visual novel, and drawing whatever weird ideas show up in my brain.
I believe that video games are one of the greatest art mediums of our generation. They are the most powerful way to engage an audience in a story, express a message, and spark a connection between people. My goal in life is to create things that are not just nice to look at, but are emotionally meaningful. If I can make even one person in the world feel the way I do about my favorite games, then I will have fulfilled my mission.
Thanks for listening to me ramble on about myself. If you’re interested in working together, check out my illustration work, 3D models, or head over to the contact page whenever you're ready. Either way, thanks for visiting! I hope you have a lovely rest of your day. :)
